UH Energy is committed to preparing students for the global energy landscape, and our new Study Abroad program is a key part of that mission. This May, our first cohort of ten students will travel to Argentina for an immersive learning experience designed to broaden their perspectives and enhance their understanding of energy on a global scale.
These students were selected from a highly competitive pool of over 50 applicants and were anticipating scholarship support to help fund their participation. With recent changes affecting that funding, we’re asking for your help to ensure they don’t miss out on this life-changing opportunity.
Your support will directly impact these students, helping them gain the knowledge, connections and experiences that will shape their future in the energy industry.
Empower UH Energy Students to Explore the Future of Energy in Argentina!
This May, a select group of UH Energy students will embark on a two-week immersive study abroad experience in Argentina, a country at the heart of the global energy transition. Through site visits, hands-on projects and discussions with industry experts and local university students, they’ll gain firsthand insight into Argentina’s evolving energy landscape.
From exploring the country’s oil and natural gas sector to understanding its ambitious renewable energy goals, students will examine the economic, policy and sustainability challenges shaping the industry. This transformative experience will prepare them to navigate the complexities of the global energy transition and become future leaders in the field.
Your support will help make this opportunity possible, giving students the chance to learn, engage and bring valuable knowledge back to UH. Join us in fueling their journey!
